Pyrite is an iron sulphide mineral with a cubic or octahedral crystal system.  Its name is derived from the Greek word for fire, pyr.

Pyrite stimulates creativity in art, mathematics, sculpture, architecture, science and other disciplines and is excellent for increasing the power of the third chakra (solar plexus) in both men and women.
